Launch of the first observatory for territorial and social inclusion in Quito

Launch of the implementation and institutionalization of the urban inclusion marker developed by the Cities Inclusive Project, as to have a technical tool to measure and evaluate the implementation of local policies (social and urban) at territorial level, both urban and rural. This Observatory will help to measure the impact of the decisions and application of the urban normative and to understand its impact at social, economic and urban level, as well as to identify the gaps that can be raised through its implementation and to make the necessary corrections. The UIM is the basis to continuously develop and update the indicators that allow the measure and identification of the progress of the local social and urban policies.
