The official launch of the Urban Innovation Movement (UIM) in Arabic "حركة الإبتكار الحضري", as a part of URBAN October 2020, the global movment towards more sustiable and resillient cities. UIM is a personal initiative of the Egyptian Ambassador of the American Planning Association (APA) Ambassadors Program. It aims to provide an open-space for the Egyptian youth to raise their voices towards the issue of urban innovation and its vital role in shaping smart and sustainable communities. A two main working groups will embark thier journey of imparting APA's cumulative knowledge to local practitioners and the public, the first is (Smart Cities Group - SCG) and the second is (Green Infrastructure Group - GIG).
