Young people around the world are often seen at the forefront of climate action as they have a large role to play in mitigating the impacts of climate change. Youth have the potential to become key change-makers, not just for their neighborhoods but for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals more broadly: acting local with a global impact. Understanding the perspectives of youth involved in climate action is critical to achieving both urban sustainability and climate resilience objectives. As part of the EU-ASEAN Climate Diplomacy week and Urban October, UN- Habitat and the EU Delegation in Myanmar are looking for talented young photographers from Myanmar to share their views on climate change and/or climate action happening within their communities. Submissions can be used to highlight ways in which you and your peers are involved in economic, social, cultural, or environmental action related to climate change. Creativity and originality are encouraged!
