As in previous years, the Arab Council for Social Responsibility (ACSR) takes part in the World Habitat Day 2026 Global Observance in Muscat, Oman, under the theme "Adequate Housing for All." The Council will contribute to a session dedicated to civil society and academic research, in partnership with Sohar University. The session will highlight the role of NGOs, universities and corporate social responsibility in advancing adequate, inclusive and sustainable housing. It will share Arab experiences that link academic research, green universities and community initiatives with the SDGs and the New Urban Agenda. The session aims to strengthen partnerships among civil society, academia, the private sector and governments, so that research becomes practical housing and urban solutions across the Arab region.
