The event “Wave of Citizenship – SUP and Paddle Therapy on Lake Paranoá” promotes fairer and more human cities through sports, social inclusion, and the meaningful use of natural spaces. Aimed at children and adolescents in institutional care, it offers experiences in stand-up paddleboarding, Hawaiian canoeing, socio-environmental workshops, and cultural activities. Held outdoors in a daytime festival format, the event brings together environmental stewardship, well-being, and social integration. It is part of the Urban Circuit 2025, under the themes “Reducing Urban Inequalities” and “Climate Action,” anticipating the discussions that will take place at COP30.
