Urban Waters Circuit, Climate Change and Disaster Risk

Held on 10/13, International Day for Disaster Reduction, the ‘Urban Waters, Climate Change and Disaster Risks’ Circuit aims to promote reflections on the interfaces and connections between these topics and to encourage the adoption of solutions based on nature in cities. The idea is to consider the post-COVID-19 scenario more sustainable and aligned with the sustainable development objectives of the 2030 Agenda. The event is organized by the Research and Extension Project ‘What is this rain?’, which is linked to the Veiga de Almeida University – UVA and which collaborates with the Rio Civil Defense Center for Disaster Studies and Research (CEPED).
