Urban planning and financing of cities in the Amazon

This webinar focuses on the theme ‘Urban Planning and City Financing in the Amazon’. The primary goal of this event is to stimulate discussion on critical urban planning issues, reflecting on the importance of integrated urban planning for city financing, with a particular focus on the unique characteristics of Amazonian cities. In this way, it seeks to promote and advocate for Urban Law in social, academic, and professional contexts, fostering an interdisciplinary and critical examination of the topics at hand. This event, which will be conducted remotely through online streaming, is part of the events within the thematic line of ""Integrated Urban Planning"" in the programme of the 2023 UN Habitat Urban Circuit. This year's theme is 'Investing in Urban Futures: Cooperation for Resilience in the Global South.
