Urban October Campaign in Shuto Orizari

In support of the Urban October campaign, which UN Habitat and Habitat for Humanity promotes all over the world in order to raise public awareness of the importance of housing, the Mayor of Shuto Orizari, Kurto Dudush, MP Dime Velkovski, Rick Hathaway, Vice President of Habitat for Humanity International EME, Zoran Kostov executive director and the team of Habitat Macedonia, citizens and young people from the municipality of Shuto Orizari participate at the Local leaders group establishment event in the project Home Equals. The event took place on 19 October in the Municipality of Shuto Orizari headquarters as a community with the greatest number of people living in informal settlements in the country. Their messages defining a home as HAPPINESS, WARMTH, FUTURE, SECURITY, LOVE, FAMILY, SOCIAL SECURITY, PEACE, URBAN LIVING, PEACE, DREAM… were published on social network profile of Habitat Macedonia to reach more supporters of the Urban October Campaign dedicated to the people facing housing issues.
