The second Urban Friday of the Urban Circuit 2025 will be dedicated to discussing the use of data in support of climate adaptation, emphasizing the strategic role of information in guiding public policies and innovative solutions that strengthen cities’ resilience in the face of the climate emergency. The meeting is aligned with the thematic lines “Climate Action and the Urban Environment” and “Data, Innovation, and Smart Cities.” To that end, the event will feature presentations from UN-Habitat partners that encourage reflection on how their initiatives reinforce the need to invest in monitoring systems, as well as in the production and management of data capable of informing decision-making processes and enhancing the response capacity of urban territories.
