Urban Agroecology: health, food sovereignty and Nature

The City-Wide Public Space Assessment methodology, developed by the UN-Habitat’s Global Public Space Programme, is a recognized tool for identifying challenges and opportunities in different public space contexts in cities worldwide. It has been applied by agency teams in diverse settings and possesses adaptability and flexibility to provide an efficient assessment of these spaces from various perspectives. The goal of this roundtable is to facilitate an exchange of experiences in applying this methodology in countries and cities with varying characteristics, thereby building knowledge from the experiences of teams and sharing lessons learnt. Shaping the urban future involves closely examining public spaces, building them to be resilient and sustainable through public participation and dialogue.
