A group of students from the Entrepreneurship program at the University of Pernambuco, aged 18 to 35, will take part in an immersive workshop on smart and sustainable cities. The session will explore key concepts such as sustainability, ESG, SDGs, and green building, while introducing tools for problem analysis, idea generation, and pitch development. Throughout the workshop, students will be encouraged to reflect on real challenges faced by the city of Recife and, in groups, design innovative product or service proposals aimed at fostering more resilient and inclusive cities. The proposed solutions should address areas such as sustainable mobility, waste management, renewable energy, efficient resource use, urban planning, social inclusion, circular economy, air and water quality, and environmental education. At the end of the session, each group will present their proposal in a pitch format and receive feedback from a panel of experts.
