Smart Cities Seminar: Challenges and Possibilities

The Smart Cities Seminar: Challenges and Opportunities will take place on October 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM, at the Center for Philosophy and Human Sciences of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). The event aims to provide a space for reflection on how cities can move toward more just and sustainable solutions, from a perspective that integrates innovation, strategic use of data, and new approaches to urban planning. The seminar will feature two panels: the first on emerging technologies and the future of smart cities, and the second on the pillars of a smart city, highlighting governance, inclusion, and sustainability in this process.
