The seminar "Law, Labor and the City: Challenges for a Better Urban Future" aims at promoting the debate on the recent Brazilian normative journey in the urban and labor areas, by analyzing its advances and setbacks, as well as verifying whether these legal innovations and their repercussions are close or far from the guidelines of the United Nations global agendas: a) The 2020 Agenda, especially considering the objectives of sustainable development n. 8- Decent Work and Economic Growth and of n.11 Sustainable Cities and Communities; b) The New Urban Agenda. The event is featured by the Federal University of the Sergipe state (UFS) and will be broadcast remotely on October 29 and 30, 2020. Registration is free and all the public and audience is invited.
