PRO-IZIDORA: Sustainable Urban Development

The event will be a webinar aimed at presenting the strategies implemented by the Municipal Government of Belo Horizonte, in partnership with UNOPS and UN-Habitat, in the Izidora Region. These strategies encompass territorial management, urban planning, and infrastructure projects, considering different phases of action, various forms of financing, and ensuring immediate territorial management. To achieve this, methodologies and products have been proposed that allow actions by both the government and the local population while planning and projects are being developed. Two main documents will be presented, addressing immediate territorial management and encouraging the local population to use innovative solutions to mitigate the lack of local infrastructure, improve housing, and generate income.
