This is the fifth and final event in a series of five meetings that make up the Osasco Housing Week – Urban Circuit 2025 – UN. This three-hour session will address the theme “Popular Participation and Technical and Legal Advisory Support.” The aim of this meeting is to highlight the fundamental role of popular participation in the formulation and monitoring of housing policies, as well as the importance of technical and legal advisory groups as tools of advocacy and support for communities. The experience accumulated by social movements, universities, and partner organizations demonstrates that strengthening these spaces of collective action is crucial to ensuring greater effectiveness in the struggle for the right to housing. In addition to theoretical reflections, the event will provide space for participants to share concrete experiences and challenges faced in their territories. Thus, the Housing Week concludes with the goal of consolidating a permanent dialogue between public authorities and civil society, reaffirming Osasco’s commitment to building more inclusive and democratic cities.
