Organization of female informal workers in the pandemic

The event aims to address organized forms of networking of associations, cooperatives and networks of informal workers, particularly those working in the home, to address the various effects of the pandemic in deepening vulnerabilities, inequalities and precariousness. Issues of hygiene, health and safety at work of informal workers, violence against women, safe return to public fairs of solidarity economy, access to emergency aid and rotating solidarity funds in the face of insecurity in income, local, national and international impact will be covered. The Solidarity Economy networks, through its representatives, will talk about their own experiences and prospects and plan for the future of the post-pandemic city: Central of Solidarity Ventures and Cooperatives (UNISOL); Home Workers Association (ATEMDO) e Metropolian Board of Belo Horizonte.
