As part of Urban Circuit 2025, the Unicidades Forum promotes an online debate to reflect on ways to place adequate housing at the center of sustainable urban planning.
The meeting will be structured in two parts:
1. Housing at the Core of Urban Planning – the articulation between housing policies, master plans, urban councils, and housing programs to ensure the right to the city.
2. Strengthening Municipal Urban Planning Departments and Institutes – presenting concrete experiences from Brazilian cities, with a focus on SDG 11, territorial governance, innovation in urban data, and intermunicipal cooperation.
The activity seeks to reinforce the leadership of Brazilian cities in shaping the sustainable urban agenda, in dialogue with international organizations such as UN-Habitat.
The event aligns with SDGs 11, 10, 13, and 16, and will be broadcast free of charge.
