Open Call: Minecraft for inclusive planning of Flemingsberg

What priorities do Flemingsbergs residents have for their city? How can Flemingsberg become a welcoming places that works for everyone? With the Open Call: Minecraft for inclusive planning of Flemingsberg, all residents have a chance to visualise and design solutions for the new urban environment in Flemingsberg using Minecraft. The open call, facilitated by the Her City initiative, is part of the design and visualisation phase of the Urban Challenges Flemingsberg project. The Minecraft designs will be presented to stakeholders and local decision makers to influence the future plans and designs for Flemingsberg, as part of the final result of the bigger project Urban Challenges Flemingsberg. The Urban Challenges initiative is an international cooperation project, funded by the Swedish Institute, that aims to create safer public transport with a focus on people in vulnerable situations: women, children, people with disabilities and the elderly. To increase the safety in Flemingsberg, Impact Hub in cooperation with MTR, Fabege, Huddinge Municipality, Changers Hub and a number of other stakeholders have been facilitating a dialogue with Flemingsberg residents. This has resulted in a number of priorities that are now being visualised with the open call.
