The current climate and ecological crises bring to the forefront debates about the role of law in building more resilient cities. For this reason, the panel aims to identify possible responses to contemporary challenges through the interpretation of legal norms, social participation, and rights observatories.
The event will feature four lectures followed by discussions, conducted in an online format. Directly related to the main theme of Urban Circuit 2025 and the thematic focus “Climate Action and Urban Environment,” the proposal seeks to highlight research conducted within the field of legal sciences aimed at disaster reduction, strengthening urban resilience, and promoting Environmental Justice.
