Mr.Bat-Uul Erdene is a prominent Mongolian politician, democracy advocate, and former Mayor of Ulaanbaatar. He was a founding member and the first chairman of the Mongolian Democratic Party, and has served multiple terms as a Member of Parliament. As Mayor of Ulaanbaatar from 2012 to 2016, he promoted urban development, housing, and infrastructure initiatives. Bat-Uul holds a master’s degree in physics from the National University of Mongolia and has worked as a teacher, physicist, researcher, and political analyst. He was awarded the title of Hero of Mongolia in 2010 for his contribution to the country’s democratic transformation.
