A participatory activity under the *Periferia Viva* in Franco da Rocha, designed to foster alignment with the community and introduce cross-cutting concepts such as integrated urbanization, risk management, socio-territorial rights, and the 2030 Agenda. The activity encourages inclusive and representative participation from the population—accounting for factors such as age, gender, and diversity—to broaden engagement across various groups and incorporate their distinct experiences, needs, and perspectives regarding the territory. Adults and community leaders: An open dialogue concerning the *Periferia Viva* guidelines, the UN-Habitat Territorial Technical Advisory Service, and the local implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals within the context of risk mitigation and territorial improvements. Children: Play-based methodologies, such as a "Giant SDG Board Game," used to introduce concepts related to sanitation, environmental preservation, and sustainable cities. Methodology: Open dialogue, discussion panels, and interactive activities, including: Presentation of the project, its objectives, implementation phases, stakeholders, and opportunities for participation; Alignment of expectations by identifying interests, needs, and potential contributions; Strengthening of institutional and community ties, fostering closer relations between the project team and the local population; and Initiation of a collaborative work agenda, identifying priority issues, opportunities for coordination, and the next steps for ongoing participation and the monitoring of actions.
