The NAMs Colombia 2026 Pre-Summit Webinar Series is a free virtual programme bringing together national and international experts to advance New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for assessing the safety of chemicals and environmental pollutants without relying on traditional animal testing. Held from 3 October to 7 November 2026, the six sessions will address scientific and regulatory foundations, artificial intelligence and predictive toxicology, reconstructed human tissues, non-animal cosmetic safety assessment, innovative approaches for agrochemicals, and regulatory validation in Latin America. Organized by the In Vitro Toxicity Unit of Universidad CES, the series welcomes representatives from government, regulatory agencies, academia, industry, civil society, and postgraduate programmes. By strengthening technical capacity and interdisciplinary dialogue, the webinars will support more predictive, reproducible, and ethically responsible decision-making for environmental and public health. The discussions will also contribute to Colombia’s National NAMs Roadmap and the Colombia NAMs 2026 Declaration, promoting One Health governance and safer, healthier, and more sustainable urban and territorial environments.
