Research results presentation followed by a multi-stakeholder discussion. As part of a research project funded by the Vice Rectorate for Research of the University of Cuenca, the “Urban Dashboard Cuenca” interactive web viewer was developed to present the results of an urban sustainability assessment for the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. The assessment includes a set of indicators selected based on their relevance and applicability to the local context, drawing on international urban sustainability indicator frameworks. The analysis is conducted at the scale of the Territorial Intervention Polygon (PIT), the smallest territorial planning unit in Ecuador. Results are presented through a graduated scale ranging from lower to higher levels of sustainability. This spatial approach allows differences between sectors of the city to be identified, rather than reducing the assessment to a single overall value. The viewer therefore provides a detailed representation of the spatial distribution of urban sustainability conditions and helps identify areas with relatively better or poorer performance. The assessment is structured into six categories: Living Environment, Social Services, Land Use and Ecology, Environmental Quality, Transport, and Energy. Together, these categories provide a multidimensional and spatially explicit overview of urban sustainability in Cuenca, supporting territorial diagnosis and evidence-based urban planning.
