This roundtable discussion will bring together representatives from civil society organizations, government institutions, local communities, youth groups, urban professionals, development partners, and other stakeholders to exchange ideas and identify practical solutions for inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities. The discussion will focus on key urban challenges, including affordable housing, sustainable urban development, climate resilience, environmental protection, access to basic services, social inclusion, youth participation, and effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will share experiences, good practices, and recommendations on how communities and stakeholders can contribute to better urban planning and improved quality of life. Particular attention will be given to strengthening partnerships among governments, civil society, the private sector, academia, and communities. The roundtable will also provide an opportunity to discuss the importance of World Habitat Day, World Cities Day, and Urban October and their relevance to sustainable urban development. The activity will conclude with key recommendations and potential areas for collaboration, encouraging participants to take concrete actions toward building inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities for present and future generations.
