InfraCidades 2025 – Building People-Centered Cities: Infrastructure for Social Transformation and Urban Development
Now in its third edition, InfraCidades 2025 is a strategic event promoted by FGV Cidades and SP Parcerias, and for the first time, it will be part of UN-Habitat’s Urban Circuit. Aimed at public managers, infrastructure companies, investors, academics, NGOs, and professionals engaged in urban transformation, the event proposes a high-level debate on the role of public-private partnerships (PPPs) in fostering sustainable urban development.
With the theme “Building People-Centered Cities: Infrastructure for Social Transformation and Urban Development,” the event focuses on how PPPs can go beyond construction projects to create real social impact and improve quality of life. The central approach is to discuss not only what is done, but how — and most importantly, for whom.
The program will be divided into two sessions on October 30:
In the morning, a hybrid conference featuring thematic panels broadcast online, addressing social impact and urban revitalization.
In the afternoon, a hands-on and unprecedented session focused on PPP evaluation, sharing methodologies and insights from FGV and SP Parcerias.
To ensure accessibility for all participants, the event will offer simultaneous Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) interpretation.
