As part of the Urban Circuit 2025, the Inova Cidades Forum is hosting an online debate to reflect on the pathways of urban innovation in Brazil and worldwide. The event will be structured around two complementary axes: 1) People-Centered Smart Cities – a discussion on how public policies can combine technology, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on open innovation, digital governance, and artificial intelligence. 2) Strengthening Municipal Innovation Departments – sharing concrete experiences from Brazilian cities and the international collaboration promoted by the Inova Cidades/FNP Forum. This initiative highlights the leadership of Brazilian municipalities in shaping the global urban innovation agenda, in dialogue with international organizations such as UN-Habitat. The meeting is aligned with SDGs 11, 9, 16, and 17 and will be broadcast free of charge.
