The event will present GeoReDUS, a public and free-access platform that provides all 5,570 Brazilian municipalities with an intuitive and powerful tool for territorial analysis. It integrates intra-urban data from multiple sources such as IBGE, INEP, DataSUS, CNES, and OpenStreetMap, among others. The activity is part of the thematic line “Data, Innovation, and Smart Cities,” focusing on the use of open data and technology to enhance public policies, reduce inequalities, and strengthen local governance. The program includes a brief presentation on the development and features of GeoReDUS, followed by a live demonstration of the platform. To enrich the debate, a panel will bring together local managers already working with territorial data to share their experiences on the importance of data use in urban planning and how GeoReDUS can become a strategic tool for developing public policies in their municipalities. The session will conclude with a short discussion on the future of the platform. The event directly contributes to the objectives of Urban Circuit by showcasing concrete solutions that put technology and data at the service of citizens and public management, in alignment with the principles of people-centered smart cities.
