The workshop “Walking to Transform: Integrated Solutions for Active Mobility and Urban Waste Management” will be held online, with a duration of two hours, functioning as an interactive space for listening and creative provocation. The event marks the first public presentation of a project still in its conceptual phase, which seeks to connect walking mobility and innovation in waste management as central axes of urban transformation.
Diverse voices—including specialists, public managers, activists, entrepreneurs, and interested citizens—will participate to share perspectives, experiences, and suggestions to enrich and guide the next steps of the initiative.
More than a simple presentation, the workshop will serve as a space for sowing ideas, where each contribution aims to ignite possibilities and expand collective knowledge on how to walk through and care for cities in a more integrated, fair, and sustainable way. Aligned with the theme of Urban Circuit 2025, the event emphasizes dialogue as a starting point for building innovative and inclusive urban solutions.
By the end, the goal is to consolidate a network of supporters and potential partners, while strengthening the project with the insights and expertise of those who believe that walking mobility and waste management go hand in hand: we cannot move forward while waste holds us back.
