The event presents unprecedented results from the CLISEVE© research, conducted in Altamira (PA) within the context of the urban Amazon. The protocol investigates the impacts of climate change on the physical and mental health of formal and informal workers in highly exposed sectors such as construction, transportation, informal commerce, cleaning, and urban security. Grounded in participatory and evidence-based principles, CLISEVE adopts an applied social sciences approach, valuing workers’ own perceptions and knowledge regarding symptoms, risks, adaptation practices, innovation, and traditional mechanisms of resilience. The concept of “climate-health risk” is proposed as an analytical key, exploring its potential integration into Risk Management Programs (PGRs). Based on 900 questionnaires and 30 interviews (Dec/2024–Mar/2025), the event aims to bring together academia and civil society to reflect on how these data can inform local and international negotiations — including those at COP30.
