A major festival for socio-environmental culture and community-based solutions, organized with the goal of contributing to the discussions leading up to COP30, which will take place in Brazil three weeks later. The event includes a press conference to launch the Favelas’ Climate Open Letter, along with numerous activities and dialogues promoted by the Sustainable Favela Network (RFS), all designed to engage the wider public. Bringing together the initiatives and lived experiences from each of the RFS’s areas of action, the festival features workshops, discussion circles, interactive activities, fairs, exhibitions, performances, therapeutic sessions, and more. The event will take place in person (with no live broadcast), but it will be recorded, and a highlight video will be released afterward showcasing the best moments.
