Nature Day: Planting and carbon offsetting

The main goal of the project is to encourage citizen participation by measuring the individual impact on carbon emissions and neutralising them by planting trees. It also promotes education on how to positively impact the environment. To celebrate Nature Day, October 4th, the event will promote citizen participation as a means to modify the urban environment with an emphasis on carbon capture, through explanations and practices, such as the planting of tree seedlings. We will show how replicating it on a small scale in other environments, as well as the action itself, promotes a more sustainable city. For full list of speakers check: www.circuitourbano.org
