National Urban Forum Peru 2022

The National Urban Forums are platforms for dialogue multi-actor designed to analyze the challenges and opportunities of urban and territorial development in line with the framework for monitoring the New Urban Agenda adopted by the countries of the United Nations system in 2016. The NUF Peru therefore intends to share national and international experiences and best practices where local and national authorities, academics and experts, social and political leaders, and the media converge, contributing to and nourishing debates on the role of policies and instruments for sustainable urban development in achieving inclusive and prosperous cities and communities. On this occasion, NUF Peru 2022 will discuss the challenges and opportunities of cities, within the framework of the implementation of the National Housing and Urban Planning Policy, the proposed Regulations of the Sustainable Urban Development Law, and the implementation of the New Urban Agenda. These reflections acquire special relevance in the framework of the at the beginning of the term of office of the newly elected local authorities in the country.
