MetaGeoparques - Collaborative poetic expressions integrated into Urban Planning

"Panel discussion on the ""MetaGeoparks - Virtual Cartography and Expanded Audiovisuals: Displaying Natural and Cultural Treasures through Collaborative Poetic Expressions in Quarta Colônia and Caçapava."" Recognizing the Geopark Quarta Colônia and Geopark Caçapava as fertile grounds for creative and sustainable development, this event aims to link these Geoparks with poetic ideas, combining research and outreach efforts. The MetaGeoparks project strengthens collaborative practices integrated into urban planning, upholding UNESCO's acknowledgment of the Geoparks for preserving the “memory of the land”, local perceptions, and experiences. Thus, we present actions aimed at virtual cartography and expanded audiovisuals for immersive fulldome environments, carried out by members of LabInter (Federal University of Santa Maria) in participatory network processes, in partnership with artist-researchers from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa)."
