Meet a Minecrafter: Urban Girls Movement is a short film by Mojang/Minecraft introducing the Urban Girls Movement pilot project in Fittja, Stockholm, Sweden. As a part of the initiatives contributing to the SG’s Decade Campaign for Action to 2030 and the annual Urban October month, the film is a part of a campaign for individuals and organizations around the world to engage with local governments showcasing their innovative solutions in addressing the challenges of urban crime and violence in their neighbourhoods. The Urban Girls Movement helps girls find improvements for their neighborhoods by building them in Minecraft before bringing them to life in the real world.
