The event is defined as a round table that will bring together technicians and researchers whose work and reflection focus on Luanda's city and the mental health of its inhabitants, with a particular focus in the context of COVID-19. It seeks to reflect on Luanda's urbanity and how its infrastructural contradictions, social and cultural factors, may impact the mental health of its inhabitants, given the current context of the pandemic. The panel will count on the intervention of a) researchers and social activists; b) representatives of Angolan civil society associations (Kalu – that fights for Luanda's defense of habitability and culture) and c) the Angolan Mental Health Association, whose project "Mental Health on line" has provided free psychological telephone support in the context of COVID-19.
