FutureSake Dialogues- Schools & Sustainable Cities

FutureSake Dialogues - Schools & Sustainable Cities is a discussion hosted by Worldview Education in association with UN-Habitat commemorating World Cities Day with a renowned group of education leaders, educators and experts from across the academia, NGOs, government agencies and the media.

Schools converge large, diverse and powerful communities and also large tracts of land in congested cities. They hold immense power and are perfectly positioned to catalyse a solution-driven generation by virtue of the resources that they bring together within their ecosystem. Schools can reimagine themselves to be a microcosm of a smart city. We envision “Schools to be the Primary Engines of Positive Change” for building Sustainable, Liveable and Loveable Cities of Tomorrow. The clarion call for change has been the loudest from young city folk and so there isn’t a better time for them to step in and be at the forefront of shaping the future of their cities, and for educators, the world over to tap into and amplify this great unifier by equipping Gen-Z with the necessary capacity to adapt!
