This activity is part of the project “Smart Campuses for Mobility and Accessibility with Safety and Dignity” (INCT-Ineac/UFF and FAPERJ), in partnership with the Accessibility Coordination of the Executive Secretariat and the Office for Cross-Cutting Policies on Rights and Care of the City of Niterói, RJ. It proposes a practical and participatory action at the Gragoatá Campus of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF).
The event will take place in two stages:
A mapping workshop of accessible routes, in which people with and without disabilities will walk along pre-selected paths, observing and recording accessibility barriers;
A discussion circle, dedicated to exchanging perspectives on mobility challenges within the university environment and exploring possibilities through the use of digital technologies, with the participation of specialists in urban mobility and accessibility.
The goal is to produce a collective accessibility map and a technical report with recommendations to support both university administration and the development of digital technologies.
Focusing on active listening, collaborative data production, and the recognition of real mobility experiences, the event seeks to highlight the inequalities that shape daily mobility. By combining practical observation, dialogue, and technological innovation, the initiative aims to strengthen the connection between social participation, accessibility, and the right to the city — starting from university spaces.
