Housing NOW is a Myanmar-based bamboo construction company developing affordable and resilient housing and community infrastructure for communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty and disasters. By combining local bamboo, traditional knowledge and prefabrication, it delivers practical, locally-led construction solutions.

Following Myanmar’s 2025 earthquake, homes built by Housing NOW in an internally displaced persons camp near the epicentre remained intact. The organization subsequently supported affected families to rebuild through community-led reconstruction, while also delivering schools, community facilities and bamboo medical clinics that serve communities across Myanmar.
