G20 PLIC Annual Meeting: Unleashing the Potential of Intermediary Cities for Sustainable Local Development

The G20 PLIC 2022 Annual meeting “Unleashing the Potential of Intermediary Cities for Sustainable Local Development” bridges G20 PLIC and G20 DWG activities with the global development agenda. It is conceived as an open space for dialogue and outreach in support of local sustainable development. The G20 PLIC operates as an open and inclusive space for policy dialogue to support local, national and international actions in optimising the development potential of intermediary cities and ultimately help build a more prosperous future for the people who live in them – and beyond. Launched under the Italian G20 Presidency in 2021, the OECD Development Centre and UN-Habitat contribute to the discussion and policy dialogue in the G20 PLIC.
