Foro Regional Financiamiento Urbano y de Vivienda

This event is organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (Miduvi), led by Minister Gabriela Aguilera, and with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Development Bank of Latin America (CAF); French Development Agency (AFD); UN-Habitat, GIZ, as well with other and national and international institutions aims to become a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences at the intergovernmental and intersectoral levels, for the fulfillment of the New Urban Agenda. As part of the event, is proposed to recognized the efforts made of some Ecuadorian cities to be part of SDG Cities Global initiative. During the event, the Executive Decree that elevates the National Urban Policy (PUN) to public policy will be signed; alternatives and new opportunities for financing social housing at the regional level will be analysed; and, the launch of the third call for the Habitat Ecuador Award will be held.
