As part of World Cities Day 2025, Budaiya hub in collaboration with UN-Habitat are organizing a panel discussion “Find Us at the Park: Urban Mangrove Habitats” the panel discussion highlights the intersection between urban life and coastal ecosystems through the unique lens of Bahrain’s mangrove habitats. The discussion will bring together environmental specialists, local communities, and urban sustainability advocates to explore how nature-based solutions, such as mangrove conservation, can enhance urban resilience, climate adaptation, and community wellbeing. The event forms part of Bahrain’s contribution to UN-Habitat’s Urban October campaign, emphasizing the importance of integrating ecological awareness into urban planning and public engagement.
