Environmental and Urban Sustainability Búzios 2030

Under the theme “Environmental and Urban Sustainability Búzios 2030”, the Municipal Secretariat for Climate and Sustainability seeks to continue the city’s agenda with UN-Habitat, in which Búzios received awards for SDG 6 and 14 in the 2024 SDG Challenge. Through an urban walking circuit, participants will cover a 3 km route linking two of the city’s beaches that hold the international Blue Flag certification. At the conclusion of the walk, each participant will receive an Ipê tree seedling to plant in a hole previously prepared by the city’s Parks and Gardens Department. The initiative aims to raise public awareness within the thematic line Climate Action and the Urban Environment of Urban Circuit 2025.
