Engineers Without Borders Juiz de Fora: building more resilient cities

The event aims to showcase the activities of the Engineers Without Borders Juiz de Fora chapter as a transformative agent in society through volunteer work. Engineers Without Borders Juiz de Fora is a non-governmental organization that carries out actions and projects with the goal of making a positive contribution to improving the situation of organizations and individuals facing social vulnerabilities. The proposal seeks to demonstrate the project process based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and present the work carried out at Casa de Clara, an institution that provides shelter for women and supports life, with a focus on art, education, and the solidarity economy. This event addresses the contribution of EWB-JF to the development of sustainable cities and communities and showcases partnerships for the implementation of the goals, specifically SDGs 11 and 17, in addition to SDGs 2, 4, 5, 20, and 18.
