Empowering Volunteers for a Sustainable Future

This event, organized by The Volunteer Team Foundation for Humanitarian Action in partnership with regional sustainability leaders, is dedicated to strengthening the role of volunteers in climate resilience, humanitarian response, and sustainable development. Held in Cairo, the activity will bring together youth, civil society organizations, and local stakeholders to exchange experiences, build capacities, and explore innovative solutions for community-driven action. The program will feature interactive workshops, panel discussions, and training sessions on climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable humanitarian practices. Participants will gain practical knowledge on low-carbon community projects, green solutions, and inclusive approaches aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By empowering volunteers with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to act effectively, the event will contribute to stronger local capacities, regional cooperation in Africa, and innovative partnerships for climate and humanitarian action.
