Elas Planejam

The proposal suggests organizing roundtables among women urban planners, residents, and community leaders to discuss and propose solutions on safety, mobility, and belonging in cities. It values the leadership of women in building fairer, safer, and more inclusive urban spaces, promoting dialogues between technical knowledge and women’s everyday lived experiences in the city. Specific Objectives: To identify the main challenges faced by women in urban spaces; to promote active listening and cross-sector dialogue among women; to collect contributions and proposals for safer, more accessible, and welcoming cities; to strengthen networks of women engaged in urban planning, mobility, and safety. Participants will be able to share experiences, challenges, and solutions based on their own perspectives. The women's roundtables will include audiovisual recording and a synthesis of the proposals presented. This proposal aligns with the thematic line “Reduction of Urban Inequalities”, with a focus on accessibility, inclusion, gender, active listening, and exchange of experiences.
