An analysis of the historic and commercial center of Piracicaba, mobilizing residents, merchants, researchers, cultural agents, and public managers through collective observation activities, interviews, photography, and thematic mapping. The event directly aligns with SDG 11, by promoting universal access to adequate housing, sustainable land use, and the appreciation of urban heritage, as well as with SDG 13, by addressing the challenges of climate adaptation and resilient infrastructure in central areas. The resulting collaborative diagnosis will provide concrete inputs for improving urban policies and for developing strategies of revitalization, preservation, restoration, and requalification of assets of historical, architectural, cultural, and natural value in Piracicaba’s central area.
