Cities increasingly face the impacts of conflict, disasters and climate-related crises, requiring integrated approaches to recovery planning. This interactive session introduces participants to the Urban Recovery Planning System (URPS) and the Building and Establishment Automated Mapper (BEAM), demonstrating how digital tools and spatial data support evidence-based urban recovery, damage assessment, prioritisation and resilient reconstruction. Through expert discussion, practical demonstrations and audience interaction, participants will explore how these approaches can strengthen recovery planning in urban contexts.
