Digital Economy and Inequalities: inclusion and public policies

The event ‘Digital Economy and Inequalities: inclusion and public policies’ seeks to answer questions on how to offer alternatives for the most of the urban population. The event will consist of a panel discussion among experts debating issues such as: i) the context of the new digital economy compared to traditional economies; ii) how to integrate poor populations and traditional activities into the new digital economy; iii) the need for better regulation of the surveillance economy; iv) the fraying of labor relations and digital platforms, and v) inclusive public policies in the new digital age. With an interactional and reflective approach, the event aims to present the content of the Sustainable Development Goals related to public policies and decent work for the low-income population in a contemporary digital context, in a transversal and interdisciplinary way.
