The international humanitarian crisis has been worsening in the recent years, mainly due to the large flow of migration stemming from wars, socioeconomic problems, territorial disputes, ethnic-racial conflicts, environmental disasters and the current COVID-19 pandemic. According to the 2020 UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) report, there are currently almost 80,000,000 forced to travel worldwide.
The talks aim to address situations of transience, urban integration, welcoming and housing policies, among other topics, with the participation of several professionals and people in situation of refugee. To foster a broader debate on humanitarian architecture, conversations were organized on the subject, from the perspective of the expanded field, that will that place in the second half of 2020, always on Thursdays at 18h30 (Brasília time), with free online transmission by Zoom and YouTube. Certificates will be issued for those who attend three sessions.
