Based on the Our City Plans methodology by UN-Habitat, and within the scope of the 2025 revision of its Master Plan, Curitiba will host a collaborative workshop starting at 9:00 AM on October 13 and concluding at 5:00 PM on October 17. The goal is to collectively build a shared vision for sustainable development by 2050. The workshop will include capacity-building activities on strategic planning, global agendas, and relevant national and state policies, as well as on Curitiba’s own planning system. It will also feature practical activities in plenary sessions and group work, organized around the six Sustainable Development Agendas (People, Planet, Prosperity, Heritage, Peace, and Partnerships), facilitated by public authorities together with research and planning institutions. The 2050 Vision will be structured within a Sustainable Development Framework, composed of objectives, targets, indicators, and strategic projects.
